Zac’s Bio
Zac Crush is a dynamic leader in Vietnam’s martial arts scene, uniting communities through his passion for grappling and wrestling. As the driving force behind Saigon Superfights and The Saigon Saga, Zac bridges the gap between sports and culture, hosting events, seminars, and podcasts that bring athletes together from all corners of the world.
Under Zac’s leadership, Saigon Superfights collaborated with sponsors like Shade Protocol, RAM Muay Thai, and other community contributors in 2024 to provide 150M VND in support to Vietnamese grapplers. This collective effort empowered local athletes, enabling 10 grapplers to compete internationally through prize programs, demonstrating the immense potential within Vietnam’s combat sports talent pool.
Recently named the international promoter and recruiter for Gods of Martial Arts (GMA), an MMA promotion led by Johnny Tri Nguyen, Zac is poised to break new ground as the first-ever English commentator for GMA events. His role underscores his commitment to elevating Vietnam’s combat sports scene to a global stage.
A wrestling coach with a knack for transforming newcomers into competitors, Zac has become a pivotal figure in uniting Vietnam’s grappling community. His mission is to grow the sport nationally, fostering inclusivity and excellence while championing collaboration between fitness communities.
From his coaching role at Saga Grappling Academy to his work as an international seminar instructor, Zac Crush embodies the spirit of connection and growth.

Zac’s Advice
I think the most impactful quote that has impacted me is this. Don't take on projects or challenges where you think, Oh, I can do that. Take the ones where you think, I don't know if I can do that. All the great opportunities I've had in life have resulted in the latter.
I didn't think I could be a good wrestler. I didn't think I could be a good podcaster. I didn't think I would be a good recruiter. But I took these challenges. When Johnny Tri Nguyen offered me that recruiting job, I was a little intimidated. Am I going to be able to do this? But that has created a lot of other opportunities.
Am I really going to be able to do a podcast or am I making a way for people to make fun of me? Are they going to take me seriously? But the rewards are 1000 fold when you do things you don't think you can. When you try to do things, the universe conspires to help you.
