We are taking part in SendGrid's beta with helping their customers to better utilize FB, Instagram and Google ads. This is just another experiment on our part to see what is going to work for us. SendGrid is our email campaign manager that we recently started to use.
We reached out to the leads that we have on our LinkedIn Sales Navigator. We used the limited number of inmails that the Sales Navigator provides to do this. Since Sales Navigator provides a very limited number of inmails. We then had to switch to our regular account and send the rest personalized connection requests. So far we have received four replies from the inmails and connections requests we have sent out. We will be focusing on those four to learn as much as we can about the construction industry.
The limited number of inmails available on the Sales Navigator is one of the reasons we will be canceling our Sales Navigator account soon. From our point of view, it seems Sales Navigator is set up more to entice you to purchase the next level of Sales Navigator vs actually helping to acquire leads or to close sales. Some of this, I will admit is because the industry we are focusing on, the construction industry. Does not really engage on social media. A few of the construction companies we are following on Sales Navigator do a great job of posting updates on LinkedIn and other social media platforms. But the majority of them do not.
We put on a job seminar and it was a complete disaster. As in only two people showed up and that is because I asked one to bring the coffee and the other to bring the cupcakes.
So a very humbling experience to put in all the work to do a job seminar and have no one show up.
We continue to learn more about Google Analytics and Data Studio. There are just so many options on this. I think it is very important to select the right metrics to follow. We are currently figuring this out.
We had our weekly meeting with BINW. We discussed their job descriptions, I9s, when they will make a decision on if they will implement an unlimited PTO and possibly changing their payroll provider.
We stopped our Google, FB, and Instagram ad campaigns. We learned a lot during the three months we ran them and we will be able to use this new knowledge in the future.
We have been attempting to finish mission 3 in our Launch Lab Online Accelerator program. But they have been working through some technical glitches with the website. Hopefully, this is fixed soon so we can complete this part of the program.
We started learning about option pools and equity dilution and everything involved with that. When we say everything involved, I mean everything. This is pretty complex, well at least right now it seems complex. I am sure it will become more simple the more we study this. (fingers crossed)
Do you have any feedback for us. If you do put them in the comments or email me at jasoncavness@cavnesHR.com
