cavnessHR participated in the Business Impact NW Grow and Thrive workshop. https://businessimpactnw.org/calendar/grow-thrive-strategic-planning-mentorship-program-session-5/ This was a 3-hour class that covered various HR topics and we had a great discussion with the business owners that took part.
We pitched at 1Million Cups Bellevue https://www.1millioncups.com/bellevue What was great about this pitch is that it was live streamed. We did a lot better on this pitch than we did on our first pitch. We are sure the more we get out there and pitch, the better we will do. We actually had some questions from Portland Angels about cavnessHR. So that was encouraging.
We attended the Seattle Entrepreneurs meetup https://www.meetup.com/entrepreneurs/ The panel discussed lessons learned from their past startup mistakes. It was a great discussion and we learned a lot from the panel.
We took part in the Bunker Labs and WeWork opportunity fair. This was an event where each Veteran entrepreneur was able to ask several mentors a question they were having challenges with and receive feedback. cavnessHR received some great feedback and advice from this event.
We attended the TEDxTacoma https://www.ted.com/tedx/events/30845 event to support three of the speakers that were speaking from BunkerLabs Seattle. Lindsay Church https://www.linkedin.com/in/lindsay-church/ Jason Matias https://www.linkedin.com/in/jasonmatias/ and Daniella Young https://www.linkedin.com/in/daniella-young/ They all gave great and inspiring talks.

The purpose of the test is to help determine if future HR applicants for cavnessHR belong to what we call the old way or the HR of no or do they belong to the new way or the HR of yes. We want to do our best to bring on HR people who subscribe to the new way of HR and the HR of yes.
