cavnessHR took part in the BunkerLabs Seattle Muster. https://bunkerlabs.org/event/bunker-labs-seattle-muster-across-america-october-2018/ This was an event that allowed the Veteran Entrepreneurs within the Veterans in Residence Program in Seattle https://www.wework.com/veterans-in-residence to show off their companies to a new audience. We were able to set up tables at the event. For cavnessHR, we had our big banner along with our one-pager at our table. We talked to quite a few people about cavnessHR at the BunkerLabs Seattle Muster.
Below is our one-pager from the BunkerLabs Seattle Muster. Reach out to us at jasoncavness@cavnessHR.com if you have any questions about our one-pager.
cavnessHR also attended some of the events at Seattle Startup Week. https://seattle.startupweek.co/ We only able to attend events on a couple of days because of other events and meetings we had going on this week. We were able to attend sessions on fundraising, marketing, sales, and the Seattle Freeze among a few of them.
We attended the Seattle Entrepreneurs Meetup https://www.meetup.com/entrepreneurs/?_cookie-check=F5NlG8qK48BQbWjU at the invitation of Kara Wenrich. https://www.linkedin.com/in/karawenrich/ At the event their was a panel discussion on networking. How to network as an introvert and extrovert and how to always add value. After that, we did some workshops to practice what we learned. We met several great people at this event. One of them is Vlad Mkrtumyan https://www.linkedin.com/in/vladimir-mkrtumyan/ He provided some great value during the event. Another one is Janee McNeil. https://www.linkedin.com/in/janee-mcneil-66330880/ She has a great startup idea.
We attended our weekly Veterans in Residence check-in. We always gain lots of value from these sessions.
We had our initial cavnessHR Board of Advisors meeting. The board asked us questions that we did not have the answers for and in our mind, that is part of what they should be doing for us. Asking those questions that we have not thought about. We showed them what we have done on the tech side for the last 3 months and our tech plan for the next 3 months. The Board had some questions about our plan for the cavnessHR tech and some other items.
We went over our 2019 Sales projections and the Board thought that our projections are a bit unrealistic. So we will relook those number. From this Board of Advisors meeting, we owe them several items that will allow them to have a better picture of what we are doing.
We had our weekly Business Development meeting with Lisa Murtha. Right now we are just getting organized for our big business development push that is coming soon.
